Colleagues who are self-employed or work elsewhere often work with us on specific projects:

Karena Stephens-Wilson is a facilitator who has held different roles in central and local government, non-government organisations and private practice. These encompass education, training, facilitation, dispute resolution and strategic development. Her work with AWEA includes:
* policy work relating to Treaty
* education and facilitation in community education
* Te Tiriti and te reo me ona tikanga.

Kim Hope: Cultural diversity project
Kim has worked in roles relating to professional, adult and community development for 30 years. Her most recent work has been on a short term contract with the Manukau Family Literacy Programme. Previous work experience includes: supporting professional development for all staff at The University of Auckland (including administrative, technical and trades staff); professional support and development for three region-wide Kindergarten Associations.

Susan Healy: Treaty educator, works with us delivering courses and workshops.
