Te Whare, The House 2008
This 32 minute film is an historical parable about the Treaty of Waitangi relationship set in a modern context. The DVD is accompanied by a booklet containing information and discussion prompts for use with adult New Zealanders, including young people from the age of about 15. Prior knowledge of the Treaty of Waitangi is not required.
Te Whare was awarded a Special Commendation at The University of Northampton’s International Community Film Festival in 2008. For these stories:
