Jen Margaret
Jen Margaret (Pākehā) is active in Tangata Tiriti/Treaty People networks supporting Māori sovereignty in Aotearoa. As Projects Manager for AWEA, Jen has developed resources and processes to promote social change in relation to the Treaty of Waitangi and other social justice issues.
She has a background in adult education, community and international development work. As a recipient of the Winston Churchill and Loxley Fellowships she has researched the work of non-indigenous allies in North America, Australia and Aotearoa
Jen lives in Te Whanganui-a-Tara (Wellington) with her partner Tom and daughter Isla. Jen offers workshops on working as allies and welcomes enquiries and feedback.
